NConvert lossless JPG rotation - image dimensions altered

Post by Trevor Morris »

While experimenting with nconvert, I noticed that the dimensions of this image (http://tinyurl.com/5px3j) were altered when rotate using the lossless JPG rotation freatures. I'm assuming this is a bug...!?

No, it's not a bug, lossless transformations trim bad pixels.

Oh, alright. Fair enough. But, what are "bad pixels"? And I noticed that, in the case of the image url provided, the pixels are only removed when rotated right, not left...just curious. Thanks.
