resize jpg, generate thumb in folders and subfolders

Post by beemoon »

Hi,
I use nconvert to resize and create thumbs for my website. So I make a batch to do it.

Originals pictures are too big (1600x1200)
So the script
reduce to 440x330
make a folder (miniatures) in current folder (for each folder and subfolder) with picture
create thumbs in each miniatures folders

weight and height for reduce image and thumb can be change by editing batch.

download:http://www.alex-lili.com in "Téléchargements" and "Traitement d'images"

next... the same script for Mac[/url]

the same place to download its name: resizeOSX.sh

Create directory
put script in it
put nconvert file in it too
put directories and subfolders with pictures in it too

be sure the script is executable (chmod 777 path_to/resizeOSX.sh)

right clic and open with Terminal (activate all applications)

In my everyday work I have to resize or crop many pictures.
On the way to find a good tool for it, I tried many tools.
I found a tool called "Sizerox" and I can say it is the best batch processing tool for handling many pictures.

If you want to resize, rename, rotate, watermark and crop pics in 1 batch then Sizerox is the tool. A quick and easy solution for mac osx.
