Can NConvert use more than one CPU?

Post by Gisbern »

hello

I have linux based server and lot of batch processing. Processing speed is limited by CPU, but nconvert use only one CPU, is there a possibility to force Nconvert to use in multithreading mode?

You can run 2 scripts in parallel in Linux
Don't really know how to write a good one
( I work on Windows, so my scripts are mostly in jscript )

for one big image however I admit it doesn't help much.
however I guess that we mostly use nconvert for batch purpose.
