Testing finished - cleaning up

Post by helmut »

Now, XnView 1.80 (final) is available and testing is over.

The testing of the various release candidates has been quite successful: New features have been refined and even new things have been introduced. Also, a number of bugs have been reported and fixed. Sure enough, the naming of the release candidates was not quite correct, these were more betas than release candidates. And the testing procedure can be still improved, perhaps we introduce and use BugZilla, we'll see. After all, the outcome "XnView 1.80" is a good success - your contributions were really helpful and appreciated a lot. At this stage also a big thank you to "Dreamer", who both contributed and helped to moderate the forum! :-)

Next step is some cleaning up here. All the postponed things have been moved to "Suggestions & Requests". Currently, we have a mixture of fixed and open issues, here. The unresolved bug reports here in "New/Open" will be moved to "Bug reports" in about 2-3 days.

In the end phase of XnView 1.80 Testing things have become a bit messy. If you know of a specific bug which is still listed here that it has been fixed, please place a post in the appropriate topic.
