Automatic resize when merging images

A suggestion for merging images ('panorama image'):

When merging several images ('Tools > Panorama image') the images are merged horizontally or vertically and thus a new image is created.
Often, images haven't the same height / width, so there is an ugly black stripe at the bottom and/or top of the new image. So you have to resize the images and then do the merge. Here's a sample image

Why not add an option for automatically resizing the images so that they match in height when merging horizontally (or width when merging vertically)? I think this would improve this feature and its results a lot and make this feature actually usable.

XnView -> Create menu -> Attach images...

We still haven't decided on a "proper" name for panorama images.
I'm still shaking my head over it too :)

The passport stlye is just one of the results you could create when using "Attach images..." several times. When using the process once, you will get a stripe of images, only.

Let's continue discussion about the labeling and naming in topic "Attach images..." should be "Create Panorama.

In XnView 1.82 we have a checkbox "Resize automatically", so this feature will be available once version 1.82 is available. Very good, Pierre! :-)
