Editing exif data?

Hi

Been using a Mac for a few years now, but not yet found any software that can edit exif data..In Windows I had plenty of apps...OK, so yes I can boot in to a VM machine, but that is nto what I want, or should have to do.

I have just tried XnView thinking it would be able to do what I wanted, but now thinking about it, and looking again at its name, it is seems obvious that it may not be able to do it. or is it just that I am doing something wrong.


I have scanned many images in using VueScan, but between films, did not change some data. : Embedded Comment when viewed in XnView, properties tab, or Image Description in the ExiTool tab EXIF section.

I have tried nView Set Comment CMD D but that does not change these fields. Is there a way that anyone knows I can do this..or am i going to have to scan them all in again just to change the EXIF data.
