XNView does NOT run on Intel based systems.
Is iMac Intel??
(my MB is Intel based and I've seen the same there).

I have to apologize.
XNView DOES run in Intel based systems. At least on my MB. You have to install X11 and start this before you start XNView. There is however a problem with the colour map on my MB. Pictures look like as if "red" is missing (they appear "green").
I'm hoping and waiting for a fix.

I too am having trouble opening the application on both an Intel Mac, and a Power PC mac. Both Tiger and Panther refuse to open it. Any ideas? And sorry for being thick but what is X11.

I'm trying to open some .dcr files (Kodak Raw Image).
