Save XMP

Post by kurka666 »

Hi

Have you got any plans to allow saving of XMP? After I have installed Adobe Lightroom on my PC, all my images suddenly got an XMP block in them, so if I continue to tag my images using IPTC only, I may find that some programs will use the XMP block only (thus causing inconsistency in the data)

I'm not looking for any XMP-functions as such - just a way to read and store the whole XMP block as a long text string.

thanks

Thanks, but I mean WRITE XMP? I'd like to be able to use the getXMP-function to read it, and then make changes and write it back. Possible?

thanks

Excellent! This is just what I'm looking for.

Do you know approximately when you will have a new version with this function built in?

Thanks a lot
