Image > Resize / Canvas size - 2560x1600 seems to be wrong

Post by gonsalet »

I use XnView's 1.96.2 on a fully updated Windows Vista (SP1).

If I try to resize or change the canvas size of an image ("Image > Resize..." or "Image > Canvas size..." dialogs), choosing 2560x1600 from the "Standard size" dropbox results in a Width of 32768 and a Height of 29772 in "Screen size". If I then directly go and click on OK, XnView hangs (I guess 32768x29772 is too much...). So if I want a 2560x1600 size I have to write it manually.

Every other "Standard size" seems to work fine, but not this one.

*Update: I've tried it with a different image and after selecting 2560x1200, what was actually written in "Screen size" was Width=72089 and Height=54067. So it seems you don't always get the same values... (and never what you really want, 2560x1600).

[This report seems similar to an older one, "Shell Extension - Convert dialog - resize issue", in http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p ... ion#p74220 . I don't know if the older one was corrected but I know that "Standard size", 1920x1200, is working fine in the Resize and Canvas size dialogs.]

Merci,

Gonç

confirmed. Choosing 2560x1600 in canvas size list presents unusual values.
