annoying thing...

Another annoying thing with XnView that I hope would ideally be fixed by now is it resetting the window position when you goto next/prev file.

Its highly annoying when you open an image, move xnview titlebar location, and then change image while in the same xnview instance, and it resets position. There should be an option to have xnview lock and keep its window position, but still open the next file resizing as it would normaly to current desktop res, !even if that means the image goes off the monitor.. afteral I did move the xnview position, another option to center window would be good too.

so to recap, I have by default [fit image to desktop, large only].. but when using mousewheel to flick through even smaller than desktop res images, it shouldn't be reseting them too the center of the desktop if I have moved the xnview window position.

gonna add onto this annoying thing the mousewheel tabbar in 1.96( mousewheel support is great, but idealy it should loop around at the end like all good tabbars)

now the other annnoying thing..

I'll sometimes use the browser to open up new images on the tabbar, but if move away from the browser view like opening a new image, it resizes the xnview window frame to match the picture size.. this is great in itself, but when I go back to the browser view, having just come from a smaller picture, i'll now have to manualy resize the browser window just to be able to use it again :( aaargh

.. so the suggestion is that the browser should remember its initial last used window size! that way if you mousewheel through everything running on the tabbar the xnview is resized accordingly for everything and not just everything but the browser window :) and I stress its more important because the browser window has no default size, and definetly no shortcuts of increasing its windows size..

and i really do hope you soon implement a option to have xnview lock its x/y position on the screen to its topleft window position so that xnview doesn't center to the middle of the screen. It would help for a number of reasons.. one being you'd be able to use the mousewheel on the tabbar and the window frame could be resized properly for each new image view, while still keeping its same tabbar/window position.. unlike right now where if you use the tabbar if you have no intention of wanting to see each image displayed correcly (ie with the window resized properly around each image view(according to the view/resize settings "[fit image to desktop, large only].. "

and just to be clear you can mousewheel on a image and it will cycle through other images in the directory centering to the middle of screen(which I use a lot)... and then there is just using the mousewheel on the tabbar which will keep its window position/size.. but soon as you cycle an image in a directory you loose all of that.

i hope someone get's this ... I may not have explained it the best way possible i dunno.
