Not better---

:) Hello !

• Confirmed in RC1 too. I tested with the INI entry :
OldGifAni=0, with OldGifAni=1 it isn't better…

• I tested in some XnView old versions, it's even worse, there are flickering black tears in addition…
- Also with some other image viewers I have here, it's not better either, even in the preview of GifMovieGear
or the one of GFIE, only the Web browsers display it just “viewable”, but no more.
Forty-eight frames “only” can't give a smooth animation in the case, IMHO…

- The file has local palettes. A copy changed as a single global palette is not displayed properly either. :|

This GIF type 87 and not 89 works great in IrfanView and Universal Viewer Lite so I think it should get fixed before releasing 1.96 final.

IE engine…

:) Hello Chris !

• Do you mean Universal Viewer by Alexeï Torgashin ?
- If so, yes, it works, simply because it uses the IE core engine…- I've the Free and Pro versions,
Paul-Ousititi friend and I are the French translators… ;)

• Aside [tiebreaker] : When XnView does support the iterations (loops count) ?
N…th. request… :|

Hello Claude,
Yes the freeware version of Universal Viewer by Alexeï Torgashin.
Wonderful app reminds me of Quick View Plus :)

I only just reconfigured it to use XnView as it's image library, recently reinstalled Vista and forgot about it =P
