Some suggestions that might improve the above labels:
"Uncolored" > "(None"
"Unrated" > "(None)"
"Can paste on subfolder item" > "Allow pasting on subfolder"

"Uncolored" > "(None"
"Unrated" > "(None)"
I agree.
"Can paste on subfolder item" > "Allow pasting on subfolder"
What about "Allow pasting on
selected subfolder", or "Allow pasting on
current subfolder"?

I agree. But should it not be:
"Allow pasting
to selected subfolder"?
Any native english speaker? "on", "to" or "into"?

The labels 258-261 are menu entries, if possible the labels should be the same as displayed in the menu. Also, setting these in quotes makes it clear that these are menu entries texts (in opposite of 255-257).
Also I've made some minor changes to make things clearer.
Suggested labels:
Code: Select all
254=Displayed Menu items
255=Thumbnail (image)
256=Image Information
257=Filename
258='Edit IPTC'
259='Set Wallpaper as'
260='Copy to Clipboard'
261='Send to ImageShack'
264=Custom thumbnail size
265=No thumbnail for file size greater than
266=MB
163=Copy to Clipboard

#define TXT_Option_Can_Paste_Subfolder "Can paste on subfolder item"
You could say
Allow pasting to selected subfolder
or simply
Paste to selected subfolder

These strings define the texts shown in the user interface of XnView. The strings are for translators and contributors, for normal users these strings are meaningless.
