1.93.2: Right-click on preview opens Fax viewer
I've just updated XNview to the 1.93.2 release.
Now the shellview gives me a weird problem: if I right click on an image, clicking on the preview doesn't open the image in XNview anymore. It opens the image in the Windows image viewer instead, or it opens the image with the associated program (for example Photoshop, etc.)
I'm wondering what's going wrong...

Nope, the problem is not about the double click.
I mean another thing: open the selected image in XNview, when you're viewing it via ShellExtension.
In the previous version, viewing the thumbnail shell extension and then moving the mouse over it and clicking, opened XNview with that image.
Now it opens the associated program.

Oh, it's not a bug, but a request by many usersdsp_418 wrote:Nope, the problem is not about the double click.

Same here... I'm thinking to look for a previous version.
The thing is that if I right click on an image into a folder containing several other images, I like the thing it opens the image with XNview, since this let me to continue to browse that folder and see the other images inside XNview (both browser e view).
It's a shame that now it opens the jpgs with the MS image viewer, it's too basic, or the tga, tif, psd (etc.) with PS, that requires such time to launch PS itself.
It's just my thought: of course I respect the decision from the developer to second the requests by other users. So, if you'll keep it as is, XNview will still remain my choice for viewing and browsing images, since it rocks!
Thanks for this great-great app.

FYI, if you do re-install an older version over the latest one, you will need to restart windows (assuming you are using windows) in order to get the right-click on images working correctly. luckily i keep a copy of all the programs i install on my computer and i was able to revert to a previous version.
i am still trying to figure out why anyone would want this behaviour that the latest version has. that is what the "open with" menu is for. Please, Please change it back or at least set an option that we can define for the command line to run when the picture is clicked.
