[ß-4] Animations don't restart…

Post by Clo »

:) Hello !

• This is related to the bug I described IN THAT MESSAGE.
- The behaviour didn't change in the ß-4, one can't switch View <—> Browser
several times for the same image keeping the animation at work.
• I think that the old behaviour in 1.8… versions (till 1.9…) was better,
since the animation restarted at least in “View” mode.
- This stands for any animated image, it's not related only to the new APNG support
(please, see the video, link in the original message).

Hello Clo,
Yes same thing for me here.
But you have the magic hotkey : Reopen Ctrl+R , it works for almost everythings (undo all, start animation,...).

With nothing

:) Hello !

• Indeed, that works (F5 too) but it's boring, and I repeat, the animation restarted by itself in “View”
with old versions I quote, without nothing more to do …
… and I don't use the keys a lot (for some light handicap reasons).
- I tested in another image viewer, it behaves like expected (in <Imagine>) without any refreshing.
