Open GPS location: Initial Zoom level

Post by helmut »

When using the new feature "Open GPS location in Google" the Google map opens and sometimes displays: "We are sorry, but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region".

Is there a Zoom level that shows details but not error message at the same time?

Could you send me a file with this problem?

On http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/sample.htm there's two sample images. The one with the radar towers causes problems.

I guess the reason for my "Zoom level" problem is the missing interpretation of southern / eastern reference, mentioned in XnView 1.91.6 Beta.

Still it might be interesting to find a good standard zoom level for initial zooming in Google Maps.
