Hello,
FI: MultiBoot v3 is a nice tool to generate multiple LiveUSBs with only an usb stick (.iso and/or .img files --> FAT32)
(Under Linux-Ubuntu + Grub2 or Virtual Machines (Virtual Box, ...) or LiveCd ( to generate LiveUSB Windows, Linux, and so ....))
Create your MultiBoot LiveUSB so extremely simple,
You just have to Drag & Drop your files. Iso
on a window and that's all.
MultiBoot will help you achieve LiveUSB to do everything,
ideal for exploring different Linux distributions without installing on your PC
and it seamlessly;
or to install the Linux distribution of your choice on your PC
much faster than via a LiveCD with the speed of USB2 ports.
Indispensable on the range of current netbooks that do not have a CD drive
...
Available in French, English, Spanish - Translators Wanted

Re: MultiBootv3- To generate multiple LiveUSBs with an usb stick
I have been searching for such a tool awhile,
I hope there is good support for English language.
I will give it a try ...
http://www.linuxliveusb.com/
is also very easy, however it supports only 1 bootable image on an USB stick.

You can first try it via a Virtual Machine (Virtual Box, VmWare, MobaLiveCD ...) and Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala & MultiBoot-v3rra wrote:I have been searching for such a tool awhile,

Hello,eL_PuSHeR wrote:Any chance of a similar tool for Windows or any ISO?
No yet, but I think in the near future some distributions (LiveCDs) will integrate MultibootV3 ( USB Multi-Boot maker ) , I will try to inform you here.
FI: You can now install Multiboot V3 in Ubuntu (hardy/intrepid/Jaunty/Karmic/Lucid) via the Method N°1 ( a simple script)
You also can now install Multiboot V3 in Archlinux.
http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=343634&p=1
Ubuntu - Method 1 (recommended)
Via the handing-download the script:
http://liveusb.info/MultiBoot-v3/instal ... sh.tar.bz2
unzip and run: install-depot-multiboot.sh

Re: MultiBootv3- To generate multiple LiveUSBs with an usb s
Hello,
FI: A new Linux LiveCD: Multibootv3+Slitazv3.0 Distribution is released (especially for Windows users but also for an USBstick nomad use)
Multibootv3 is a stable version, Slitas v3.0 is a light and stable Linux distrib, but the iso build is an alpha version, and should decrease in size in a next future, actually the .iso is 115MB

Re: MultiBootv3- To generate multiple LiveUSBs with an usb s
Some recent Linux installation and live-cds are hybrid iso. These are kinds which can be copied directly to usb or burned to cd.
The package syslinux in Ubuntu/Debian contains the isohybrid command which can convert (some) regular iso into a hybrid type. I guess this is similar to linuxliveusb mentioned above, but if you're stuck using a rescue cd and can't find an easy gui tool...
To create hybrid:
isohybrid test.iso
To copy result to usb key:
cat test.iso > /dev/sdX
