Nice user interface approach and a LOT of good ideas for browsing images in Visere. Not free, though.

I like the way any panel (tree, thumbs, Preview, EXIF, etc, etc) can be docked anywhere and expanded by hovering the mouse cursor! This is something I have hoped for XnView.

However, in Vesere's "unpinned" mode, a user has to hover the mouse over a tiny little tab to expand its contents (this is similar to PaintShop Pro). Adobe LightRoom's approach is much better in that regard... in LightRoom the hover regions are the height (or width) of the screen, so there is much less mouse movement.

There is a 30-day trial. Very promising product.
