Incorrect slide show Image size when windows display scales differ (Dual monitor)

Post by Mark1342 »

Scenario:
Windows 11

Windows Display Settings (System > Display)
Scale & Layout:
Display 1 (Laptop screen) - Scale of 125% (Recommended)
Display 2 (24" monitor or Projector ) Defaults to scale of 100% (Recommended)

I have images in a folder sized the same as Display 2 resolution

XnView Classic V2.51.6 (& 2.51.5)
With default settings (I deleted .ini) run a slide show (either from Icon, right click on folder or Ctrl-L).
The displayed images from the slide show on Display 2 are displayed reduced in size.

Closing XnVeiw, Changing the scaling on windows 'System > Display - Scale & Layout Display' to match (both to 100% or both to 125%), restarting XnView and the problem goes away.
(As an aside, I tried changing Display 1 scale to 200% and the image on display 2 was half size!)

For what should be a Full screen Slide show on Dual monitor display 2, XnView is incorrectly scaling the output when the display scales of Display 1 & 2 differ.
