File order is not correct when change mouse wheel to previous/next file

Post by spippen0 »

Default mouse wheel is zoom in/out. I change mouse wheel to previous/next file.
When I double click a image file, it was opened by Xnview. Then I scroll up/down mouse wheel but found the file order is not correctly.
I think the root cause is chinese file name.

For example, I have following image files. And file order by name (number/increase)

When I click 248183_603526209658934_1212915622_n.jpg then scroll down mouse wheel. I expected next image should be S__40566786.jpg.
But the file order like following.

Hope this information is helpful.

Another thing, can i suggest to add an option that can put the tabs below toolbar?

XnView Classic only has limited support for Unicode, which may be one issue, you should perhaps take a look at the newer XnView MP which is under active development.

Beyond that, there should be, probably in the file browser window, menu options for setting the desired sort order, as I am in Linux I only have 'MP installed.

Not supported, and I believe that Pierre has no plans to add support if that is actually technically possible.
