Incorrect image info about 16-bit gray+alpha PNGs

Post by dmitry6 »

XnView Classic 2.50.4.

When I open an 8-bit-per-channel grayscale+alpha PNG image (see the attachment), XnView displays it as "WxHx32" in the label in the status bar, and the image properties specify "Bits per plane = 32", which is incorrect. Possible solution could be specifying two planes in the image properties, 8 bit per each. Or, alternatively, one 16-bit plane.
