Hi,
starting from a 57.1 MB uncompressed TIFF file I obtained:
- LZW+Predict. ("only one strip" selected): 39.9 MB
- ZIP ("only one strip" selected): 53.7 MB
The ZIP compression seems poor since with another program I obtained a 37 MB file.
Xnview version 2.49.5.
Poor TIFF compression

Re: Poor TIFF compression
Here you can find an example with a photo reduced to 50% and compressed with Xnview and another software. You can see the difference with ZIP compression, which is almost always the best solution with the other software:

However, I notice that the smaller ZIP file is not displayed correctly by the file hosting site, so there may be compatibility problems.
