crash on opening Gif when view all files in explorer

I use Xnview classic 2.46.

In the explorer view of XNview, clicking on "show content(included subfolder). The viewer is set on sorting from big to small. When the 1th file is a Gif and opened by double click, XNview is crashing. This is allways and with different folders and files the case.

When opening the file in windows explorer, there is no problem.

And when first opening a jpg and then this gif it don't crash.
