Silent crash when merging images from fullscreen

Hi,

may be an edge case, but reproducible.

1. Choose Options > General > Operations > Mode when starting with a file [Fullscreen - Edit]
2. Choose Options > View > View > Only one window view opened [checked], ok and close program
3. Open an image from windows explorer (it's in fullscreen now)
4. Open merge dialogue with Shift + A
5. Try to merge something

As soon as you hit the create button, the program closes silently.
Apparently those two settings don't work well together here. What should happen is to close the image from step 3 and instead open the freshly merged panorama.

XnView 2.44, Libformat 7.16, Win 8.1x64

p.s.: Why is the Xn version info under Info>About not copyable, but contact info is? Makes no sense to me.
