GPS coordination

The conversion between Degree, Minutes, Seconds into Degree and Decimals (DD) is incorrect.
Would you explain how it could ha^^en and how I can fix this problem?

- No problem with Xnviewmp v0.89 beta 2 ...

I did some extra analysis.

The fact that it works for you it does not mean that it works or me.
Furthermore, your tutorial does not really contain a solution for my GPS problem. There is the option to clean for GPS data. I appreciate it, but it is not available for all photos. I do not understand why.

You are mentioning Xnviewmp v0.89 beta 2, but this is not an official version. I use the version 0.88 which is the official one.

I can still check the position of exiftool 10.61 in the add on, before coming back.

In the meantime, I would very much appreciate any input which explains why the translation from Degree Minute Seconds to DD provides corrupted/wrong results.

It remains for me a bug.
the right version of the Exif tool is in the add on folder .

Anyone else which got version 0.88 of XnView MP who has verified the conversion against Google from degree/minute/second to DD in XnView?

Did you get the same results between Google and XnView or not, please?

The tool GEOSETTER (freeware) fits the purpose to get correct conversion of GPS data between Degree Minutes, Seconds and DD (Degree Decimal).

After that the metadata was updated by Geosetter, XN View can read it correctly. That is good.

Now the point is that the latest version of Exif tool is January 2018, version 10.75

While I was able to update this version 10.75 in Geosetter, I was not able to update it in the add on of XnView MP. This may be the problem which requests a de-bugging.

Any other views, please?
I hope that all of us realise that XnView MP can't stay on the market with such a bug.

You must use a comma instead of a dot when you write seconds with décimal digits
Il faut utiliser la virgule comme séparateur décimal dans les secondes, et non le point.
