XHtml plug-in: Double-click does not always open image

Pierre, Nikolay, et al,

just experienced the following problem:

When double-clicking on an HTML file which currently is not selected, the selection moves to that thumbnail, the preview is shown and most of the time it is opened. But sometimes the image is not opened.

Platform is Windows XP. XHtml plug-in version 1.0.0.2 is installed.

Sometimes Windows HTML Thumbnailer is not generated thumbnail perhaps because of absent internet connection. That is why html-preview was removed by Microsoft from WinXP Service Pack 1...

Thanks for your explanation, but this is not what I mean. All the files in the example are local.

Again the problem in some more detail:

1.) Start XnView
[XnView and browser opens, thumbnails including HTML thumbnails are displayed]
2.) Double-click on a HTML thumbnail which is currently not selected.
[The HTML thumbnail is selected and the preview of the HTML file which was double-clicked on is shown.]

So far so good. But: When double-clicking on a thumbnail, the appropriate image should open (mode 'Image view'). For HTML files the image is not opened, always.

Hope my description is clear and reproducable.
