In Linux version, paths with spaces aren't remembered correctly. They are truncated at first space. For example, "/d/Texts and Pictures" or "/d/Texts and Pictures/mypic.jpg" becomes "/d/Texts".
To see this, look for recently opened files (file menu) and directories (open dialog).
