Zoom with mouse wheel [Enhancement]

I would like to be able to increase/decrease magnification when viewing a picture using the mouse scroll roller. At present its functions can be set to scroll up and down at constant magnification, or jump to the next picture.
However, when checking large pictures for focus problems or when trying to identify some detail, it would be much easier this way, rather than clicking or using the +/-keys. And it would be great if the zoomed area would be the one centered around the mouse pointer, and the zoom increment per roller step would be customisable

Paint Shop Pro has this behaviour, but the zoom increment is fixed. I could live with a fixed icrement, too.

I think that would be a nice option. Perhaps Pierre can add this...
