Change Exif data: 'Date taken'

Can XnView change the Exif data that is put on .jpg files that was taken with a Lodak camera??? i need to change the date taken!!

Currently you cannot modify EXIF data. Also I'm not quite sure whether it's technically possible and/or makes sense to change the EXIF date:
For all I know EXIF data is all technical data written by cameras.

For users there is the IPTC data. Perhaps IPTC data is the right thing for you?
