Image adjustment window

Hi all, I feel a bit dumb on this one....

I haven't use XnView Classic for 6 months or more.
I recall when doing image adjustments like hue/saturation/chroma and new window popped up with before and after images, and many other adjustments, red/blue/green/brightness etc....
It was also possible to save the adjustments, and apply to other images, and use in batch mode.

Now however, that window is not popping up.
Can anyone set me straight on what to do?

I attempt to adjust colours via: Open image/Image/Adjust/Brightness-Contrast-Gamma-Balance

A pop up appears.
It has before and after image thumbnails, the window is small, I cannot expand the window, and the image adjustments are limited.

Previously I recall a large window, with before and after images which I could zoom in and out, and below that was a range of image adjustment tools/sliders.

Is that familiar?
