Issue loading webp files

Hi. I installed XnView 2.51.2. There is an issue loading webp files from a file manager (Windows Explorer or Total Commander): XnView starts in browser mode. Any idea why?

check the registry entry for .webp

i have seen exactly this issue, in most cases (animated) webq cannot be opened by xnview classic at all
