Network folder tree not expand after browse and click on windows explorer

Post by CarlosGT »

Hi,
I´m using Classic Version 2.50.2 on Windows 7.

I use to browse with Windows Explorer and Xnview open the folder tree for local files (C:, D: ,....) and let me browse with Xnview.

I have a Synology NAS running as server (domain controller). I can browse network devices on Windows Explorer. I can do it too with Xnview but too slow on first opening (then normal).

Issue is than when i open a photo on the network device (\\Servidor\fotos), Xnview open the viewer. If i click on the XNview Explorer Tab, folder address is shown properly on the address, but it do not expand the browser tree to show the folder than contains the photo as it does with local drives.

I have checked this: viewtopic.php?t=34597

Adding the ExpandUNC=1 code (the CheckNetFolder has no effect and overrides the Expand UNC one). After doing this i can see the UNC folders synch with the photo clicked on windows explorer BUT on first opening it takes about 30 seconds to open (and goes into temporally "Not Response" on the Xnview).

Is there any way to speed up the UNC folder browse on Xnview?

Thank you!
