Hi,
Just a process improvement suggestion really. I've been app testing on a widescreen monitor recently and have been using XnView for clipboard and cropping duties.
Many times - usually when I'm busy and absent-minded (!) - I Print Screen and crop an image then go to Ctrl+V into the document I'm creating. Sure enough, I've missed out the step of copying the cropped image itself and end up pasting the entire desktop into the document.
It would be superb if within the Preferences, you could tick an Auto-clipboard option, where Print Screening into Xnview and then cropping the section you highlight, would automatically put that cropped selection onto the clipboard. The instant you let go of the crop selection box - it goes straight onto the clipboard, ready to be pasted elsewhere or saved itself.
Regards,
D.

Re: Auto clipboard option on Crop?
Apologies for the delay - yes, XnView Classic.
Just nearly posted an image where the background had some highly confidential information on it. Thankfully I didn't blindly click on upload
Cheers,
