Batch Auto-cropping Animated GIFs

Post by Josh88 »

I have a few thousand animated GIFs which have empty transparency around the edges which I need to crop. If I use the batch processing feature and add the 'Auto crop' transformation it removes the transparency, but doesn't retain the animation, only outputting a single frame. I'm not sure if it matters, but the transparent area is the same on all frames of each GIF.

How can I auto crop without losing the animation? This thread describes a similar issue - viewtopic.php?t=3901 but I can't find that function in 2.42.

Thanks in advance.
