Command line printing

Post by paulie219 »

I am trying to get the command line printing tool to work correctly. I'm sure it's just that I'm doing something wrong.

I'm creating a shortcut on my desktop to print whatever I drop onto the shortcut.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\XnView\xnview.exe" /print %1

This is the shortcut information. It almost works. It prints the image I drop, but it prints a blank page first. I'd like to not print the blank page. It does this for all files. The image file does not have multiple pages.

Thanks.

Does anyone have ANY experience or have any luck using the command line printing function?

In your xnview "File, Print ..." window,
are header and footer values empty ?

perhaps check any other options in the same window that could explain this blank page ? (i.e. page setup, margins ...)
