I associated EMF and WMF files with XnView and I tried to open with double click.
The problem is that the browser opens instead of the viewer.
How can I fix this in order to be opened by the viewer?
Thank you.

Can you verify some settings ?
In Tools, settings, file list, look for the line containing EMF or WMF extensions , in "open with" column, xnviewmp should be specified
If these exensions are not present, you can add them in the last column

If all settings are OK, select a wmf file, and click "Update catalog from file" in View menu . Then try again double click

It is already on Normal mode. The same thing.

What I want to obtain is to associate EMF and WMF files with XnView Classic viewer on Win 10.
How I can do it?
Thank you.

I want to associate EMF+WMF with XnView Classic viewer on Win 10.
I go to Options > Associations
The list is inactive
I use Windows file associations button which gave me the message: "To change your default apps, go to Settings > System > Default Apps"
I go to Default Apps > Set defaults by app > Select XnView for Windows > Set this program as default.
... and the EMF+WMF files are not associated with XnView Classic.

ok, the extension is not here by default, you can use 'open with' (and click always)

Can you, please, add missing image extensions to Windows association list?
Thank you
