48bit to 24bit Conversion Warning

Post by coolspot »

Hello,

XnView by default displays a warning that informs the user that 48-bit to 24-bit conversion is occuring if the colour depth is >24 bits.

I clicked the "Do Not Show Again" option, but now I want the dialog to show up again.

How do I re-enable the warning?

Thanks!

To reset warning dialogs: close program, remove line named "ShowAgain" in xnview.ini (settings file); underneath [Start] section. The 'about' dialog will show its location.

Great thanks; I was looking for something like "8bit" "warning" etc in the .ini file ;)

Just curious, will XnView support 48-bit image manipulation in future release? Even basic features like rotate would be great.
