Basic video editing

I see that XnView can now display mpeg and other movie clip formats.
Is it possible to do basic editing, such as: stripping off beginning and/or ending of a clip, or combining two or more clips into one video clip?

apart from playing a videos and extracting frames, XnView does not support video editing.
