.8BF plugins

Post by DemonDuck »

I'm told that XnView supports the .8BF plugin interface used by Photoshop.

I'm told that PTLens has an .8BF plugin and that XnView supports the PTLens plugin --

I read your General Support forum and there is conflicting information about how and where to install plugins. One message says that all plugins have to be in the plugins folder another says that it has to be in a 8BF subfolder.

I have installed PTLens' 8BF plugin in both folders and I cannot see the plugin no matter what I do.

Two questions:

1) Does XnView still support the 8BF plugin interface?

2) Exactly how do I install an 8BF plugin?

FAQ Integrating Adobe filters might answer your question.

In FAQ Let's talk about Plug-Ins you will find various info regarding plug-ins.

Please post again if the above FAQs does not solve your issue.
