Auto-rotate when printing

Post by Peter2 »

In posting http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=10648&

there was a question on Nov. 18, 2006:
foxyshadis wrote:If an image would fit the dimensions of the paper better by rotating tolandscape, it seems like best fit could do that for the user. Otherwise, choosing landscape isn't too hard.
The posting is placed under "Resolved Bugs & Requests", but I don't know how use an "Autorotate-Function" (like Adobe Reader) when printing files with different portrait or landscape orientation.

Is it possible or not?

Hello..

On the off chance that your prints are turning out pivoted and not filling the whole page, you'll have to change the paper introduction in your print settings:
Windows
Go to Settings > Printing > Set Printer Properties, and change the paper introduction to the opposite it is.
Macintosh
Go to File, Printing, Change the paper introduction of the opposite it is.
