Hello where can we find an up-to-date list of available addons?

From this forum I found a link but seems dead : https://www.xnview.com/en/xnview/#addons

The original post contains all plug-ins and addons available for XnView. Don't be mislead by the posting and editing dates -these aren't updated when editing as administrator.

can you maybe update a plugin for uploading to a hoster like imgur (not only public, also private)?

It seems that you have a problem in registry with associations
Sorry for digging but this problem is still not fixed, in 2.51.2 in Windows 11. In addition to pointing out the possible reason, can I have a fix? Thank you!

General questions

Post by Reflected »

I didn't know where to put this post and I don't know which version of Xnview I have. My questions are will XnView work offline ? I have a mechanical switch box the cable runs into. Click ....its offline. Second question: Is there a general tutorial ? What do I want to do? I have lots of graphics files that I want to clean up. Some are my own and some where snatched online and put on a USB. The ones I got online are a combination of jpeg, png, GIF etc. I don't want to destroy them but they somehow create web beacons even if I'm off line. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Forgot to say that I'm using windows 7 and Firefox

Hi all, I'm new to the forum although I've been using XnView for years - first with Windows and now switching to Linux Mint (XnViewMP for Debian).

I wanted to see what plugins were installed but, if I go to "Tools>Plugins...", there are no Plugins or Addons listed. In the Info there are 2 (JPEG-2000 and WebP) listed instead.

I have tried installing some Plugins (like pdn.zip - Allows to read Paint.net format) by extracting the files to the /opt/XnView/Plugins/PluginName/ folder but even so I don't see the new Plugins installed when I restart XnViewMP, either in "Tools>Plugins..." or in Info.

In some posts it is described that, from "Tools>Plugins...", Plugins can be installed, but I don't see any buttons to install or remove them (see image).

Also I would like to ask another question (which would perhaps solve the thing I just wrote): does XnViewMP support XnView classic plugins or only those listed here viewtopic.php?f=82&t=36661 ?

Thanks for reading.
