@imageshack:
just downloaded the 1.01 version.
erm, the only change is the annoying popup-window,that is completely unnecessary? would be nice if you could drop a line what changed in the version*. maybe a textfile in the archive? thanx

@cleo: keep up the hope ;).

*in any plugin upgrade..

Oh yes, it's quite annoying, perhaps the checkbox and text "Do not show this message again" would help.

@imageshack: i just noticed that after saving the picture you want to upload eg after importing from clipboard when you upload it, it does nothing. only after opening the saved file you can upload it again.
btw would be also nice to choose from a format before uploading.

@dreamer:ah yes you're right, i didnt thought about the accidental click on "menu/filters/upload to imageshack" with trembling fingers when wipeing the 3 zeros out of your tax declaration.
an upload meter/status bar with an abort button would help the weak and shortsighted quiet better. .. if the button is big enough of course.
but hey, thanks for motivating users to write more feedback!

How that, you import something from clipboard, and you can't upload it?
btw would be also nice to choose from a format before uploading.
You would like to use jpeg?

jep, to choose between png, jpeg & gif.
with the option to choose the quality settings before uploading (like 94% jpg or 8 colors gif eg), but not affecting the normal quality (regular save) settings.
would be nice, cheers.

Is it normal for XnView to become unresponsive while uploading to ImageShack?

Yes you need to wait that the uploading is finished

The HD Photo plugin doesn't support 16 bit colors (in total, not per channel). Any chance to supporting that in the future?

xemfpcl-plugin

Post by Peter2 »

On page http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=11715 I found the hit for the xemfpcl-plugin.

Some remarks and questions:
- It is not included in the "all-plugins-package" from here:
http://download2.xnview.com/XnView-win-plugins.zip. Why?

- It is not listed on the plugin-page here:
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/pierre.g/xn ... ugins.html

- I tried it with a PCL and PCLXL file (both from RICOH) and kann not see anything. Why?

(I copied the USR-file to the Plugins-directory and enabled the PCL-association in Options.)

Addendum: I contacted the author; the result is:
The plugin is too old for current print-files, but the full version of the PCL-viewer can display it.
