Start slide show automatically and manually with hotkey

Post by Dreamer »

I've got another feature request, could You add this, please?

Start slide show automatically in fullscreen with all images in folder, starting with current (opened) image

And start and stop slide show manually with one hotkey (space for example, like in video players, or other) if "start slide show automatically" is disabled

Thank You very much :)

Ok, thanks for your suggestions.

I'd also like to add myself to the list of poeple wanting this feature. In addition, could there be an option to recurse subfolders aswell?

Also, I noticed that the sld files cannot be associated with xnview. When I try to launch xnview with my sld file as the parameter I get the error: "format of the file ... could not be determined". I expected that the aplpication would open and the slide show play automatically.

Please have a look at Opening a slide show file, this might solve this issue.

This is in new version 1.74 (button), thanks Pierre.
Could you add a hotkey (space) for start (and stop) slide show (exactly what that button does - for usage in fullscreen too) ? Thanks.

Thanks again for "manual slide show" feature (button). It's great feature, but now it's possible to use it in viewer only, not in fullscreen.

Could you add a hotkey (space) for this feature, please?

I think, it wouldn't be too hard to implement a hotkey, because a feature already exists...

Thanks!

P.S. Till then it's possible to use this feature in fullscreen easy with a mouse - click middle mouse button (MMB), click on Slide show button and click MMB again, for stop slide show do the same again

Could you add "Slide show" to RMB context menu too? With a hotkey: "Slide show .......... Space". Thanks.

I've got some problem with a 'Pause' key in one movie player, it's maybe a windows problem, so I suggest to add custom hotkey or ability to change ('Space' or 'Pause') to prevent possible problems.
