Windows LIbraries equivalent

Does xnview have the ability to group pictures together without having to move them from their folders? I know there is a slideshow but the slideshow is very limited in what you can do with those pictures. It would be nice to index a bunch of pictures and get them all in one place while still keeping them organized in separate folders if they belong in those folders. I hear windows has something similar called "Windows LIbraries."
