I'd like to have the ability to create PDFs from images.
Highlight a bunch of images and then right click, CREATE PDF and it would create a PDF file of those images.
It would also be nice to combine PDF files. Highlight two PDF files, right click and COMBINE PDF.
I'd also like to insert pages into a PDF. IE : If you have a PDF file that contains 5 pages, I'd like to insert an image between pages 2 and 3.
Thanks!

Hooo !
Hello !
- AFAIK, PDF is an almost "closed" format, and it needs special softs to create files…
- The original Adobe's programme is not cheap… However, as an alternative solution, you could give a glance HERE, they have softwares for PDF as freeware or with a reasonable price
- Some freewares have been released to create PDFs, but I didn't find out one working really fine yet…
- The addition of similar features in XnView seems pretty complicated, I'm not sure that Pierre'ld do this…
Kind regards,
Claude

Yes, but i think that you want to merge PDF but without importing original PDF files as picture (lossless), right?JamesGT wrote:I'd like to have the ability to create PDFs from images.

Hi,
Are there any updates on this feature? It seems very useful to have it as part of the XnView in an effortless way.

Re: PDF Manipulations
XnView MP, in the file browser, has the option Create > Multi-page file... which can combine separate PDF files, including multipage files, into a single PDF file...
If you wish to use XnView Classic, I imagine that a similar option is likely available in that.
Note that in either case, Ghostscript is required to be installed, and that files will be rasterised at the set DPI value and that any searchability of text will be lost.
