Wow XNView is really neat
some reqs:
1 - Option to enable high quality resampling for slideshows
2 - Folder thumbnails (As in Windows Explorer or ACDsee: shows 4 pics from inside the folder)
3 - When right clicking a folder (or several folders) on the browser, then selecting Slideshow, it could fill the slideshow file list with the selected folders contents (recursively)
4 - Option to time the slideshow in miliseconds (like in viewer slideshow)
5 - Shortcut key to "Slideshow Start" on view mode (ACDsee uses "Pause" key - press again to stop) - also add this function the the context menu and the main menu (couldn't find it there).
6 - Right click on fullscreen viewer should bring the context menu, not send to previous pic (configurable?)
7 - Fullscreen view isnt hiding the windows taskbar here (Win XP, Taskbar always visible, auto hide off)

'Always on top' windows taskbar option apparently carries over tostooges wrote:Wow XNView is really neat

full-screen mode as well. It happens intermittantly and often on Win2K
also. Unchecking it might provide temporary relief from this odd behavior.
<alt+tab> switching to another application then going back to full-screen
xnview session seems to temporarily stop this also.

There's a request 'haute qualite en diaporama...' for this in the French forum and I guess this will come soon.stooges wrote:1 - Option to enable high quality resampling for slideshows
Also nice feature. Sure enough this should be configurable since displaying the folder thumbnails will affect performance.stooges wrote:2 - Folder thumbnails (As in Windows Explorer or ACDsee: shows 4 pics from inside the folder)
Would be a good and helpful 'short cut' for experienced users. When introducing such short cuts, one should make sure that normal users are not too surprised.stooges wrote:3 - When right clicking a folder (or several folders) on the browser, then selecting Slideshow, it could fill the slideshow file list with the selected folders contents (recursively)
Sounds as if you want to view a sort of movie. Could you explain your 'use case' a bit?stooges wrote:4 - Option to time the slideshow in milliseconds (like in viewer slideshow)
