Re: What is XNView-MP?
XnViewMP is a new version of XnView (fully rewritten), for multiple OS like linux, macosx & windows. MP stands for Multiple Platforms.
Currently, XnView MP is in early alpha phase and a lot of functionality is still missing. Forum discussions can be found in the Forum category "XnView MP Testing".

Re: What is XNView-MP?
Great! I always wonder why the linux version was so different.
I'd been using XnView for a long time in Windows and when I migrate to Linux I was surprised with the lack of tools and utilities in the Linux version.
I am downloading the beta right now!
Thanks
Hugo

It will sound more great if you write it on this page: http://xnview.com/en/index.html
It is not very helpful if you try to understand what is the "MP" in all-around forums.
