Arrange by Name (numeric) isn't an useful feature, since it does not arrange files by any criteria... See this screenshot:
Arrange by name or even arrange by date does the sort in desired way, but Arrange by name (numeric) mess up everything.

Arrange by name is a useful feature. From what I can see in your bug report it just doesn't work properly on Linux. I've tried on Windows OS and it looks alright.crazytb wrote:Arrange by Name (numeric) isn't an useful feature, since it does not arrange files by any criteria... See this screenshot:

Re: Arrange by Name (numeric) = Random sort criteria
Have you tried it with filenames which have two or more numbers? Like "MyFile-2004-05.jpg"? I haven't tried too far, but it looks like the "arrange numeric" only works on "first" number found on a filename. More than one number will mess up everything.helmut wrote:Arrange by name (numeric) is a useful feature. From what I can see in your bug report it just doesn't work properly on Linux.
