Transparent images in Ubuntu Studio

Postby Viewing Problems » Mon Jan 07, 2008 4:47 pm

I am running Ubuntu Studio. When I view images the background or whatever app I may have open under it shows through. The photo is semi-transparent. This happens when I have visual effects set to normal. If I turn them off, then the images display fine. Any suggestions besides turning off visual effects in Ubuntu?
