That is good software for preview picture under Mac.
But that is not support the HiDPI format, it's very blurred.
Could you help to support the HiDPI/retina version?

*bump*? Is this still the case with QT? Would be nice to avoid all those blurry dialogs ;)

Is hidpi supposed to be supported by now? The images still aren't as sharp as with different viewers on retina.

Here is a screenshot with the mentioned difference.
Sorry if it's been already discussed elsewhere - I couldn't find any helpful results.

Hi Pierre,

I've been using your softwares for several years and I can only say they're irreplaceable and incomparable. The highly customisable interface as well as the numerous features and ultra compatibility just make this app unique, beating any other out there such as ACDSee.

However, I've started using it in a MacBook Pro Retina for half a year now and the Retina compatibility has really become an issue when it comes to viewing images (especially photos). Do you have any ETA for the new Retina-enabled version with the QTlib update? I'd be even inclined to make a donation for the software development so as to recognise the efforts.

Thank you.

For me 0.76 doesn't fix the issue. Or do I overlook some setting?

It's quite the same difference.

Well, for me this version 0.76.1 solves the Retina issue. See the attached picture comparing XnViewMP 0.76.1 with Apple Preview at 100% zoom. It looks the same for me.

It was always ok on 100%. The issue is specifically the look of downscaled images on retina.

Right you are, grgr. When comparing XnViewMP and Apple Preview I can confirm the Retina incompatibility is still present ("fit to screen" zoom). Please refer to the attached image for more details (I highlighted the differences).

Bonjour,
