Re: Image Type
How can this be fixed? Fill request in Suggestions forum to extend sorting function with ability to explicitly set number and order of sorting keys. With the way it works right now you may get what you want sometimes if you're lucky. But if you wanted to sort files by type as first sorting key and ...

Re: Import Files Not working at all
Are you importing whole folder I:\DCIM\100CANON and this is how progress window looks?
Only 2/5 files when amount of files in folder is over 20 (74 items in folder, not sure if all are pictures)? 10 MB of 100 MB is 24% instead of 10%? Empty Source and Destination fields?

Re: Read input files in natural sort order?
With Explorer (just checked it in 10) you already have numeric sorting which you can revert to old-school http://superuser.com/questions/536438/w ... sort-order. With Nconvert I have no idea what it does and how it works.

If you had to sort strings "aaa", "aab", "aaab", "aac", "aaac", "aaad", "aad", "aaaa" in natural order, what order would it be?cday wrote:Pierre (or anyone else...) is there a way to read input files in natural sort order rather than the 'Windows' sort order?

Re: WebP support
Back to XnView, apparently XnViewShellExt64.dll 3.5.1 (February 2015) is still up to date, and still does not support WebP, or if it supports WebP please tell me how to arrange this in a Windows 7 registry. If you open XnViewShellExt64.dll in text editor there is plenty of text strings "webp", "Web...

First start cancelling in Configuration Wizard
When user starts xnview.exe for the first time and changes his mind, what should be reaction to clicking Cancel button in Configuration Wizard? Current reaction is such that XnView starts anyway.

Re: v0.78 Bug: BAD Delete/Move Bug - May Corrupt file system
Apparently the Win-7 system library has a serious problem with trailing spaces in names and folders, and fails in windows explorer, cmd.exe, powershell, bash running under msys - to name a few. This is explicitly declared in Do not end a file or directory name with a space or a period. Although the...

Re: Web Capture
As was pointed out by XnTriq in different thread (http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=32873#p130854), MP's Web capture command utilizes functions of Qt WebKit engine. The only option to control it which XnView MP provides is setting for resulting image width. This function works as a st...
